Join us March 3, 2026 for the Tale of Three Doctors. This presentation will examine the lives of three notable doctors. Two MDs and a PhD, who were born in the early 1890s, had ties to Reily Township, and supported local institutions through major acts of philanthropy. The subjects were an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist who, with his wife, founded a group home for boys in Reily Township; a Reily native son who became a nationally recognized urological surgeon; and a former Reily Township teacher who advanced from bench chemist to highly honored head of a major U.S. pharmaceutical company. The life stories of all three doctors include some remarkable and surprising circumstances.

Presenter: Dick Oertel is a retired P&G chemist and amateur local historian, Butler County resident for 56 years.
