Tonight, we will be welcoming Mr. Dan Finfrock, retired educator and local historian from Hamilton, Ohio. He will present ” The Streetcars of Hamilton”. Mr. Finfrock’s slide presentation will begin with Hamilton’s horse drawn streetcars, circa 1850, and continue until the later electric streetcar was removed from city streets in the 1930’s. The more modern gas and diesel buses led to the demise of the streetcars around the country.
